1. Experienced Specifications Writer
HFR Design, Inc., a 105 year multi-disciplined architectural/engineering firm, is seeking an experienced specification writer with a minimum of 5 years experience. Licensure is preferred as well as accreditation as a Certified Construction Specifier (CCS). Other preferable attributes would be:
- Some field construction experience.
- Familiarity with Word and Excel, and their macros.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
- Familiarity with building and fire codes, bonds, construction law, and insurance.
- LEED accreditation would be a plus.

Marketing Assistant
HFR Design, Inc. is seeking an individual to support the Marketing Department in the production of materials and proposals and in direct support of the Brand Manager including Social Media assistance on multiple platforms. This position would also involve some administrative tasks including part-time reception duties. We need someone who has excellent organizational, written and verbal skills and is extremely detail oriented. Candidates must have Copywriting and Graphic Design experience with knowledge of the Architectural and Engineering fields preferred. Other preferable attributes would be:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design.
- A minimum of 1-2 years Marketing, Copy Writing, PR, and/or Graphic Design Experience
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office
